The Ocean hunter fibreglass hand spears are a fantastic option for younger kids that want to start out in spearfishing, and for those that can't be bothered fussing around with an actual speargun and just want to go for a quick spearfish at the local reef.

The fibreglass construction is great for hand spears as it gives them a bit more weight than an aluminium one, which results in much more power and longer distances when you're shooting underwater. The two-piece construction is also good as it allows for easy storing and carrying around, however the best part (unofficially) is that the join in the middle provides a great non-slip spot to hold onto when you've loaded up the rubber.

They're great fun and super easy to use. Because they're so skinny they're also really easy to move side-to-side underwater which means you can react quickly and aim faster.
